Job Description:

Snow Reporter & Merchandising Assistant: Seeking energetic, self-motivated team player to join our Marketing team. Full time seasonal position available November 12, 2007 Through April 2008. This individual reports directly to the Communications Manager and is responsible for communicating in a time-sensitive manner the daily mountain operation activities as they relate to the public such as trail, lift, snowmaking, and grooming status as well as hours of operation.


The Snow Reporter will also write some copy for the on-mountain publication, Sunday River This Week. The position includes loading updated information on the website regarding snow conditions and status of resort's terrain pipes and parks, managing snow and weather data throughout the season for the purpose of reports and assisting the Marketing department as needed.

Job Requirements:

Advanced skiing or riding ability required. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or similar field of study. Will consider accomplished writers with a passion for skiing, riding and strong knowledge about Sunday River Ski Resort.
