Job Description:

To ensure guests satisfaction as it relates to the supply, quality, and cleanliness of linens and soft goods. Specifically to ensure an adequate supply is clean and available to housekeeping at all times.


Essential Functions:


• Pick up and sort dirty linen and soft goods for cleaning and removal of frayed, stained, and/or torn pieces.


• Operate all machines within operating specifications.


• Operate dryer within cleaning, loading, and temperature requirements.


• Fold linens, stock linens and soft goods in Housekeeping storage room.


• Return when possible, damaged linen and soft goods to use by repairing or removing stains. Unusable items to be used as cleaning rags.


• Periodically check water temperature and automatic fluid dispenser amounts to ensure they fall within operating specifications.


• Keep laundry area neat, uncluttered, and clean.


• Service guest needs as directed.


• Sort all linen into appropriate carts. This position requires bending ,stooping, lifting, and pushing carts.


• Washing, drying, and folding items.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to push or pull laundry carts carrying heavy loads weighing up to 100 pounds, ability to lift up to 30 pounds as the position requires continuous transportation of laundry to and fromguest rooms.


• Must have a TX drivers license and a clean driving record.


Hours: 2:30pm-11pm 5 days per week.
Wage: $8/hr $8.25 after 90 days.
