Ride Mechanic
These full-time positions are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of animation, special effects, ride and show mechanical systems.
Qualified candidates:
Possess a high school diploma or GED (degree in electrical/electronics technology from a technical school preferred)
Have minimum 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electro-mechanical systems, as well as hydraulic and mechanical systems, either in the theme park or other industrial industries
Possess a valid Florida Driver License
Be able to work a 3rd shift schedule, both indoors and outdoors, and stand for long periods of time
Required skills include:
Ability to use hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints during routine maintenance/troubleshooting.
Ability to understand machine prints with dimensions and tolerances as well as read and understand mechanical assembles and associated terminology.
Knowledge and experience with dial indicators, inside and outside micrometers and dial calipers.
Proficient in the use of common hand tools including torque wrenches.
