Sales Associate

These positions are responsible for providing an interactive guest experience through the utilization of suggestive sales techniques and product demonstrations in a positive and outgoing manner. Processes merchandise sales and returns using cash register; Wraps and bags merchandise; Handles cash, credit card transactions, travelers’ checks and discounts. Verifies starting bank and completes sales audits report upon cashing out at the end of the shift. Stocks and retrieves merchandise and supplies. Verifies starting cash bank; and balances out at end of shift. Maintains sales floor or carts appearance standards by cleaning floor surface, dusting counters and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes and/or cleaning agents.

Qualified candidates must:

Possess excellent communication skills

Be comfortable approaching people that they do not know and have the ability to engage them in conversation

Have basic computer skills and be able to perform data entry accurately

Be comfortable working outdoors
