Parking Attendant

These seasonal positions are responsible for performing the assigned parking position for that particular day, which may include: 1) Toll Booth - Processes parking pass transactions; issues parking passes; provides accurate change; and balances daily revenue to daily sales. Distributes literature and/or parking receipts at toll plaza; 2) Up-sells guest transactions by using persuasive selling techniques to increase the sales initiatives in Parking (I.E., Preferred and Valet). Informs guests of general UO information and provides guests with requested assistance; 3) Lot - Direct guests into appropriate parking area; 4) Wheelchairs - Rents wheelchairs to guests, accepting cash or processing charge slips; 5) Kennel - Process transactions; monitoring and caring for guest’s pets. Maintains safety standards to ensure guest safety. Informs guests of general UO information and provides guests with requested assistance.

Qualified candidates must:

Possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable handling a variety of guest situations

Be comfortable outside in various weather conditions

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Be comfortable cash handling and up-selling when needed

Be able to stand for long periods of time
