It’s all in the details! Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Imagine being a Artist, Make-Up at Universal Orlando. The Artist, Make-Up will execute and maintain make-up application and care for all venues throughout Universal Orlando.Artist, Make-Up at Universal Orlando are responsible for:
- Providing the application and care of all forms of theater make-up utilized in the Entertainment Department through out Universal Orlando.
- Maintaining equipment, supplies and cleanliness of workstation and area.
- Providing Maintenance and Styling of hair, wigs and furs.
- Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of an Artist, Make-Up successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Graduate of certified make-up school preferred. One to three years experience with the application of Theater make-up preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsible to provide services as directed by Entertainment Management at Special Events through out the park.
