Summit Search Group has proudly partnered with one of Winnipeg’s top clinics on the search of their next Dental Assistant Instead of a sterile, clinical surrounding, our client offers a boutique, luxe experience. Our client will work with you to take care of all your dental needs – from aesthetics to general dentistry and oral health. We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our client dental practice. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in supporting their dental team, ensuring the seamless operation of the clinic, and delivering exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will collaborate closely with dentists and team members to provide top-notch dental services with professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities: Chair-side Assistance: Aid dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, assisting chair-side as required, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Patient Care: Welcome and prepare patients for procedures, update medical histories, address concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout. Sterilization: Strictly adhere to infection control protocols by sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas. Instrument Maintenance: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain dental equipment for optimal functioning. Administrative Support: Assist with front desk tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calls, and handling patient paperwork to uphold clinic efficiency. Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures for optimal dental health. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dental team to foster a positive and cohesive work environment. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience. Current certification in dental radiography. Proficiency in dental instruments, procedures, and terminology. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
