Job Description
F&B Requirements: No formal chef training is required but one needs to be keen and passionate about making food Must have 2-3 years of previous working experience in a similar role Have knowledge of stock, ordering, stock control and the operation of a kitchen Must be an all-rounder that will stand in whenever the other managers are on their week off each month Must be able to work under pressure and work well within a small team Strong creativity and passion for culinary arts and modern cooking techniques (advantage) Great attention to detail and hygiene practices Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control Excellent time management skills Field Guide Requirements: Minimum FGASA NQF2 qualification Valid PrDP, First Aid, Rifle Competency, NDT Registered Previous experience within a luxury lodge environment Experience in game drives and all guests-related events such as hosting dinners Enthusiastic and an all-rounder Passion for the bush and the Hospitality industry Assisting in/ and around the lodge Experience in maintenance and garden supervision including large solar system operation, electric fence monitoring, water reticulation and general repairs and maintenance.
