Site Carpenter

Job Summary Homelodge Buildings Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Carpenter to join our dedicated team, working on high-quality modular buildings and timber-frame structures. This hands-on role involves working on-site to carry out a range of carpentry tasks during the installation and finishing phases of our bespoke buildings. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, the Site Carpenter will be responsible for fitting timber components, which varies between 1st and 2nd fix carpentry. The role requires a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a be able to work within a team. Responsibilities Construct, install, all components of our lodges Use hand tools such as chisels, hammers, and saws to shape materials. Operate power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns safely and effectively. Carry out painting tasks to finish surfaces as needed. Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. to be able to communicate with the senior management team Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Full UK driving license. Level 2 NVQ in site carpentry or equivalent. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the day. Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
