Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing and supervising food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service delivery. Collaborate with the F&B Manager to develop and implement menus, ensuring quality and creativity. Train, motivate, and manage staff to deliver excellent guest experiences. Monitor and maintain inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, as well as food safety regulations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in dining areas. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of food and beverage operations. Requirements: Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or management role, preferably in a luxury or game lodge environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A passion for guest service and delivering unforgettable dining experiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage a diverse team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. A relevant hospitality qualification (e.g., a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management) is preferred. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed in the lodge setting. A love for nature and wildlife, with the ability to interact professionally in an outdoor setting.
