Financial Accountant

Job Description: As the Financial Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following: Capture and manage financial transactions within Xero, ensuring accurate month-end closures Assist in the preparation and coordination of both internal and external audits Maintain and review trial balances Ensure all entries comply with IFRS Standards and internal financial policies Oversee the processing of supplier invoices Maintain supplier accounts and manage payments Perform reconciliations for both creditors and intercompany accounts Compile monthly management reports, including balance sheet reviews and petty cash reconciliations Keep the fixed asset register current Process depreciation entries and verify physical assets Handle bank reconciliations and ensure timely submission of VAT 201 returns Ensure data consistency and alignment between Xero and the companys system Complete and submit regulatory filings as per statutory guidelines Assist with occasional administrative duties as needed Skills & Experience: Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles Strong knowledge of IFRS standards Proficiency in MS Excel and Xero Accounting Software Qualification: Relevant Finance or Accounting degree (completed) Grade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
