The position scope involves designing, implementation and configuration of key enterprise security initiatives. Specific initiatives include maintaining and configuring the following products as well as other security devices & operations: Desirable Skills: Advanced knowledge of the OSI networking model Advanced knowledge on UDP/TCP/IP protocols Industry experience (Next Generation are desirable) Experience in networking (routing is a must) 3 years industry experience Advanced knowledge of Network Security best practices Skills which are a must: Advanced knowledge and experience on Palo Alto, Cisco ASA and Checkpoint (Plus certification) Knowledge implementation of Site-to-Site VPNs Experience working with Firewalls 1 year (Advanced knowledge) Knowledge on Zscaler Proxies The Information Security II is expected to maintain professional working relationships. Contacts will include key corporate stakeholders, the Information Security Team, business unit personnel, associated working groups, and external contacts within the information security industry. The individual is expected to meet objectives with integrity and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively work on projects, designing, implementing and updates enterprise network and systems security operations infrastructure throughout the shared services environment. Performs change control and device configuration management activities on all security hardware as assigned. Actively protects the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of customer, employee, and business information. Contributes to Enterprise security team effectiveness by accomplishing additional security related results as needed. Assists Lead and Senior Information Security Engineers in the review, development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques. Qualifications: 3 years industry experience. Advanced knowledge of the OSI networking model, TCP/IP protocols, Advanced knowledge of network security best practices, and Firewall Implementation, especially Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewall.
