The IT Regional Manager is responsible for: Contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness, administration, operation, and security of Blue Diamond Resorts' Information Technologies. Hires IT staff (Managers, Assistants, and Support). Trains, coaches, and advises IT staff in an effort to develop a high-performing team. Sets department objectives, evaluates key results, drives progress, and conducts performance management. Motivates IT staff towards continuous improvement and quality of service. Manages, coordinates, and resolves all IT-related issues (data, communications links, security, hardware, and software). Researches and recommends improvements to the organization's hardware, software, and infrastructure. Monitors network utilization and performance, applies network optimization, reliability, and availability procedures. Leads IT projects. Helps define the strategy, architecture, and processes of the IT infrastructure. Analyzes business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop operational/administrative solutions. Creates strategic business alliances with IT suppliers. Manages up-to-date documentation on IT procedures and end-user training documents. Ensures that the security of the infrastructure (hardware/software) is applied based on the standards of the Cybersecurity and Compliance department. Works with a responsive mindset following all information security policies, procedures, and measures. Identifies and highlights risks, dangers, and opportunities in this area. Direct participation in opening projects within the region under its responsibility or Task Force. The ideal candidate has: 5 to 7 years of experience in hospitality as Systems Manager (Hotel – Cluster – Region). Management skills. IT Operations Leader. High-level leadership skills, presence and communication skills. Project Management Skills. Development and control of CAPEX – OPEX budgets of Information Technologies. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications PMS, POS, SPA, others. Mastery of IT infrastructure and operations best practices. Direction and management of projects of various technologies. Working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and system administration, databases, data storage systems and telephone systems. Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
