Job Title: GITANO Tulum Sales Manager Location: Based in Tulum, Mexico About Us: We're a collection of three unique properties in Tulum, Mexico: - CASA GITANO: A luxurious beachfront hotel offering bohemian-chic accommodations and unparalleled service. - GITANO BEACH: A vibrant beach club and restaurant serving fresh seafood and creative cocktails in a stunning oceanfront setting. - GITANO JUNGLE: An immersive restaurant and lounge nestled in the jungle, offering an innovative menu and expertly crafted cocktails amidst a lush, tropical atmosphere. Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Sales Manager/Director to lead our groups, events, and weddings sales efforts across our three properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and showcasing our unique venues to the global market. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy and Planning: - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for groups, events, and weddings across all properties - Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to inform sales strategies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plans - Client Relationships and Sales: - Build and maintain relationships with key clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and industry partners - Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities - Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction - Sales Operations and Administration: - Develop and manage sales collateral, including brochures, proposals, and contracts - Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and revenue performance - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Team Leadership and Collaboration: - Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed client expectations - Collaborate with other departments, including operations, marketing, and culinary, to ensure seamless execution of events - Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members - Revenue Growth and Performance: - Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets - Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions - Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share Requirements: - 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or events industry - Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - Strong network of industry contacts and relationships - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to travel occasionally for sales meetings and industry events Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with wedding and event planning - Knowledge of the Tulum and Mexican hospitality markets - Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools - Certification in hospitality or events sales (e.g., CMP, CMM) What We Offer: - Competitive salary and commission structure - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Access to exclusive industry events and networking opportunities - Discounts on accommodations, dining, and experiences at our properties If you're a driven, charismatic, and results-focused sales professional looking to join a luxury hospitality brand, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to abrilgitano.com
