Seasonal (Interim) General Manager, Grand Hotel Gardone

The Grand Hotel Gardone seeks a passionate and experienced General Manager for the 2025 season (March to October). This interim position offers a unique opportunity to lead the hotel team and ensure an exceptional guest experience, with a primary focus on maximizing room revenue and occupancy during this peak period. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in hotel management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of hotel operations, particularly in rooms management. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining the hotel's high standards of service and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all hotel operations, focusing on rooms division performance, including revenue management, reservations, front office, and housekeeping. Lead and supervise department heads, fostering a positive work environment. Manage budgets and forecasts, focusing on room revenue optimization. Analyze financial data, identify opportunities, and maximize profitability. Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Support sales and marketing activities, focusing on strategies to drive room bookings and occupancy. Communicate effectively with stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of hotel operations. Requirements: Proven track record in hotel operations, with 5 years of leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or in a similar role, with significant experience in rooms management. Seasonal/interim management experience a plus. Strong leadership, communication, financial acumen, understanding of hotel operations (especially rooms), analytical and problem-solving skills. Passionate, dedicated, results-oriented, proactive, positive attitude, team player. Excellent written/oral communication skills in Italian. English and German languages are a plus.
