Junior Sous Chef - Michelin Star Mediterranean Restaurant in Marylebone £44,000 -£45,000 Starting ASAP Job Title: Junior Sous Chef Salary: £44,000 - £45,000 Location: Marylebone, London Work Schedule: 7 shifts across 4 days (3 doubles, 1 single) – 3 days off Operating Hours: 8 am – 11 pm (restaurant closes between lunch and dinner) Start: ASAP Concept: Casual High-end European/Mediterranean, refined sharing concept Capacity: 110 covers with terrace and Private Dining Room (PDR) Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our client’s team fat a beautiful 1 Michelin Star Mediterranean restaurant. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in upholding culinary standards, contributing to the overall excellence of the dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional cuisine. Support the implementation of a refined sharing concept and contribute to kitchen innovation. Demonstrate a strong understanding of kitchen operations and provide oversight as needed. Collaborate closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Maintain the culinary vision, delivering European/Mediterranean flavours with finesse. Qualifications: Previous experience in a chef or similar role in a Michelin Star Restaurant. Strong leadership and communication abilities within a kitchen setting. Knowledge of European/Mediterranean cuisine is advantageous. Ability to foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. Passionate about culinary excellence and creativity.
