EMPLOYMENT OFFER: LEVEL 1 POINT OF SALE (POS) TECH SUPPORT SPECIALIST COMPANY OVERVIEW Netevia is a leading provider of payment processing services, supporting over 40,000 businesses across various industries. Our platform enables businesses to accept multiple forms of payment, including digital wallets, credit/debit cards, and ACH transactions. POSITION: LEVEL 1 POINT OF SALE (POS) TECH SUPPORT SPECIALIST We are seeking a Level 1 Point of Sale (POS) Tech Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support , assist with POS menu programming , and perform product demonstrations for clients. This role is ideal for individuals with restaurant POS experience , basic IT knowledge , and strong troubleshooting skills . The ideal candidate will have experience working with Windows operating systems , remote access tools , and ticketing systems while delivering excellent customer service. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Technical support & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 1 technical support for restaurant POS systems via phone, email, and remote access software (TeamViewer, AnyDesk). Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues . Guide clients through basic POS operations, error resolution, and software updates . Communicating technical details to non-technical users. Log, track, and escalate support tickets in the ticketing system , ensuring timely issue resolution. Assist with onsite and remote installations, configurations, and system optimizations . Menu programming & System configuration: Configure and program menus, pricing, discounts, and modifiers based on client specifications. Customize POS settings, tax structures, reporting tools, and user permissions . Collaborate with clients to optimize workflows and ensure a seamless ordering process. Test programmed menus and troubleshoot any errors before deployment. Product demonstrations & Client training: Conduct live and remote demonstrations of POS features for potential and existing clients. Train end users, restaurant managers, and staff on POS functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting steps . Provide ongoing education on new system features, integrations, and updates . Additional responsibilities: Maintain a working knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends to better support clients. Assist in creating knowledge base articles, guides, and support documentation . Work closely with senior technicians and developers to improve system performance and user experience. Support system migrations, upgrades, and new hardware deployments as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: ✔ Experience with restaurant POS systems (Heartland, Toast, NCR, Clover, etc.) - required. ✔Experience in retail as a cashier or manager is an advantage. ✔ Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic IT troubleshooting . ✔ Experience using remote access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, LogMeIn, etc.). ✔ Knowledge of ticketing systems for tracking and resolving support issues. ✔ Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills . ✔ Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment. ✔ Prior experience with networking, hardware installation, and software updates is a plus. ✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure . ✔ Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION: Full-time position. Work is in-person, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend shifts may be required depending on client needs.
