Job Title: Sales-Driven Travel Consultant Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Travel Consultant with a strong sales background and a keen appetite for earning performance-based incentives. In this role, you will leverage your extensive travel knowledge and exceptional interpersonal skills to drive revenue through strategic sales initiatives, build lasting client relationships, and deliver tailored travel experiences. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Revenue Generation: Actively prospect, identify, and convert new business opportunities within the travel industry. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling travel packages, tours, and related services. Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to attract a diverse clientele, including leisure and corporate customers. Maintain detailed sales records and customer information in CRM systems to track performance and follow-ups. Emphasis on Incentives: Champion a performance-centric approach where top achievements are rewarded with lucrative incentives and bonuses. Customer Relationship Management: Provide personalized travel consultations by understanding client needs, preferences, and budgets, and then recommending appropriate travel itineraries and packages. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional post-booking support and encouraging repeat business. Address client queries and concerns promptly, ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. Travel Product Expertise: Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry offerings to effectively position products. Collaborate with vendors, tour operators, and travel suppliers to negotiate competitive rates and exclusive deals. Design and promote customized travel experiences, including group tours, luxury vacations, and corporate travel arrangements. Administration and Reporting: Prepare detailed travel itineraries, proposals for clients. Track client interactions, sales performance, and market trends through timely reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the travel industry or a similar role. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive, incentive-driven environment. Deep knowledge of travel products, industry trends, and market dynamics. Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Exceptional customer service skills and the capability to build and nurture long-term client relationships. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or evenings based on client needs and business demands.
