Role Description Opera Cloud Migration Specialist (Remote Contract) Lead end-to-end Opera Cloud migration projects for hotel properties transitioning from legacy Opera and non-Opera PMS systems. You'll be responsible for planning migration strategies, executing data transfers, configuring Opera Cloud environments, and ensuring business continuity throughout the transition process. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze source system data structures and map to Opera Cloud architecture • Develop and execute comprehensive migration plans with minimal operational disruption • Configure Opera Cloud instances to match hotel operational requirements • Perform test migrations and validate data integrity across systems • Troubleshoot migration issues and implement effective solutions • Collaborate with hotel IT teams and Oracle support as needed • Document migration processes and provide knowledge transfer Qualifications • 3 years experience with hotel PMS systems, preferably including Opera On-Premise • Proven track record managing complex data migration projects • Strong understanding of hospitality business processes and data structures • Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail • Experience with SQL, data mapping tools, and ETL processes • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Opera Cloud certification or hands-on experience highly preferred
