The role Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to become an important member of the Italian Commercial team. You'll build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, enhance our value proposition for customers, and identify ways to sustain our rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and leveraging data insights to drive growth. What you'll do: Become the local expert for your city (or cities), understanding the restaurant industry thoroughly and representing Deliveroo in the area. Extract insights from data to improve our customer proposition neighborhood by neighborhood. Manage top restaurant partners as needed, leading negotiations and optimizing partner performance on the platform for growth. Coordinate with and support any local account managers to promote local hero brands. Design and implement city sign-up strategies, ensuring successful execution. Own the city’s P&L, understanding key KPIs and influencing the most relevant ones. Develop local sales strategies, identifying gaps in value propositions and focusing areas. Enhance our local customer offering through market knowledge, improving restaurant selection, operations, and strategic planning alongside regional teams. Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation. Requirements: At least 4 years of proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles. Results and target-oriented mindset. Understanding and management of P&L. Business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to work both in the field (2-3 days/week) and remotely. Strong relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email. Why Deliveroo?
