Chef de rang - F&B Service Expert

Job Description: The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a high-level team passionate about F&B. This is a seasonal, full-time role (40 hours/week) in an elegant Venetian setting, known for exceptional service, culinary excellence, and cultural events. Responsibilities: Welcome guests and serve tables promptly Serve food and beverages, making recommendations as needed Assist guests with menu questions and special requests Accurately record transactions and check guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, allergies, and special requirements Follow operational standards and brand guidelines Requirements: Legal right to work in Italy with a valid work permit for full-time employment Fluent in English and Italian Understanding of F&B operations and luxury hospitality Positive attitude, outgoing personality, teamwork skills Experience in fine dining preferred; knowledge of Micros is a plus This role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
