Lead and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve creative and business objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to designers, ensuring professional growth and upskilling across the team. Act as the primary point of contact for design team deliverables, setting priorities and managing workload to meet deadlines and goals. Define and implement team workflows, processes, and standards to optimize efficiency and ensure consistency in design quality. Drive user research initiatives to uncover insights and validate design solutions, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and evolution of a robust Design System to ensure a cohesive and scalable user experience across all products. Partner with cross-functional leadership to align team goals with organizational objectives and product roadmaps. Establish and maintain the teams design vision while advocating for user-centric principles and usability best practices. Set and track design performance metrics to measure the teams impact on product success and user satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to keep the team and products innovative. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION? Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of user-centered design, methodologies, and usability principles. Expertise in creating interactive prototypes to visualize concepts and refine designs through iteration. Experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design decisions. Knowledge of Insight tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar Experience in developing and maintaining design systems and component libraries. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how to apply them to digital design. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello. Strong ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive, user-friendly designs. Proficiency in motion design or micro-interaction tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle) is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills to align team members, stakeholders, and business objectives. Fluent in Spanish and English. Decent knowledge of the languages and proper writing skills.
