Job Description Job Description Florida-based family-owned company in the tobacco industry is looking for a diligent Material Handler/Forklift Operator with to join their team and support their manufacturing process. The Material Handler/Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining the production environment, preparing and operating manufacturing machinery, and following standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours: Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts (Day or Night shift) Mon-Fri Week 1 - 5:30AM- 2:10PM Week 2 - 2PM- 10:40 PM Responsibilities Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery and production line Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols Inspect finished products for quality assurance Prepare necessary materials for manufacturing Perform routine checks and minor repairs Record and report any malfunctions or deviations Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production area Assist in inventory management Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health and safety Requirements 2 years experience with sit-down and stand up machines Valid Forklift license Good communication, must be fluent in English and Spanish Good Manufacturing Practices – current- (GMPs) – requirements Good housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation, and pest control practices Apply Online or call us at 954 932-0477 Ext 402.
