Job Description Job Description Salary: Summary A site superintendent oversees construction project phases to include leading and supervising team members and subcontractors, tracking and recording changes, and maintaining project requirements, schedules, and work quality. This role enforces policies and schedules while managing daily operations. All work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications, regulations, and guidelines at the sites. This hands-on nonexempt role requires travel. COST is a theme construction company that fabricates and manufactures custom creative projects for museums, theme and water parks, aquariums, zoological exhibits, and other unique clients.Check out our work on our website! Location: Nationwide project locations, requiring travel within the continental U.S. Shift/Work Hours: M-F 7:00am 3:30pm, or M-Th 7:00am 5:30pm, or T-F 7:00am 5:30pm Employment Type: Direct hire; temporary position to last through July , with additional employment potential elsewhere as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and assist small- to mid-sized crews (up to ~20 team members and subcontractors), ensuring work quality meets company and customer standards both aesthetically and functionally. Enforce safety rules in compliance with federal, state, customer, and company regulations and policies. Orientate, select, and discipline team members as needed. Act as the company liaison for site team members. Identify and address risks; act as a first responder for near misses, incidents, and injuries; and proactively implement preventive safety actions. Promote professionalism, lead by example; train and develop team members. Manage timecards and absences. Adhere to project schedule/plan; coordinate and assign work of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, while communicating with the project manager, director, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders. Regularly inspect and monitor work for quality, safety, and timeliness; prepare and provide various reports. Monitor the budget throughout the project, effectively manage resources, and communicate variances in a timely manner. Must carry 50 lbs. for 50 ft., push a 100 lb. wheeled cart for 100 ft., and drag 50 lbs. for 100 ft.
