Job Description Job Description Event Registration Specialist Full-Time | Up to 20% Travel An established global professional association is seeking an Event Registration Specialist to manage and execute all aspects of attendee registration for conferences and events. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless, customer-centric registration experience before, during, and after events. Key Responsibilities: Manage attendee registration processes, including system setup, payment processing, record maintenance, and on-site support. Provide outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving registration issues. Prepare registration materials such as badges and attendee documentation. Supervise on-site registration operations and temporary staff. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate volunteer registrations and event logistics. Support virtual event coordination (scheduling rehearsals, managing communications, troubleshooting). Collect and analyze post-event feedback to improve future registration and event experiences. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR). Assist with other event planning activities and internal process improvements. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, business, or a related field preferred. 2-3 years of experience in event registration, coordination, or similar roles. Strong skills in registration platforms, databases, and event management software. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms and nonprofit associations a plus. Must be willing to travel up to 20% (including two week-long conferences per year) and eligible to obtain a U.S. passport.
