The Lead Facility Attendant will: supervise the facility according to established policies and guidelines; monitor the facility patrons by viewing patron entry area, gym area, hallways, fitness area, etc.; enforce discipline policy as appropriate; review meeting room reservations and provide set-up/clean-up as necessary; supervise part time staff; handle patron concerns/situations using effective customer service skills; report all accidents and see that patrons receive proper care; provide a safe, healthy and sanitary facility; open, close and secure building at the appropriate time; secure cash and provide change to staff as needed; communicate to supervisor any problems or challenges experienced during scheduled shifts; and will perform other duties as assigned. Employees in this position work under supervision, and their work is subject to frequent inspection and review by supervisory personnel through conferences and attendance reports. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: be at least 21 years of age, possess and maintain a valid Missouri Driver's license; management or supervisory training preferred; must be able to stay calm during emergency or disciplinary situations; customer service experience required; must be able to physically handle setting up meeting rooms, cleaning facility, etc.; have the desire to work with individuals of all ages; attend mandatory staff meetings; follow dress code policy; have the ability to work independently; be able to work evenings, weekenda and holidays; and must have an exemplary attendance record.
