Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating packaging machinery, setting up equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. This role involves managing machinery that fills, cuts, seals, and packages sauce packets and containers. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, packaging, and machine operation. M-Th 4pm-4am $18.85 4 days a week 12 hour shifts Responsibilities Operate and set up packaging machinery. Adjust hoses, blades, and machinery settings. Load new film and rolls into machinery. Set orders and runs into the computer system. Manage and unclog jams in the machinery. Check products for defects. Connect hoses to tankers and fillers. Climb ladders to access the top of the machinery. Ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently. Essential Skills At least 1 year of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) experience. At least 1 year of packaging experience. At least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually. Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual skills are a plus. Experience with blending and batch mixing is desirable. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility is very clean, temperature-controlled, and features various tanks, machinery, and packaging lines. It can be slightly warmer around the machinery and kettles used for cooking. The work environment is pleasant and smells good. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, work pants, and non-slip boots in compliance with GMP standards. No jewelry is allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
