Easy Ice continues to grow and seeks a bright, highly motivated Refrigeration Service Technician to join their team in the Tampa, FL market . In this role, you work independently to clean, maintain, troubleshoot and install our ice machines, Enjoy great pay in fun atmospheres – restaurants, hotels, offices, warehouses – wherever ice machines are needed. If you are mechanically skilled, enthusiastic and able to forge lasting relationships among internal and external customers, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Repair, maintain, and install ice machines to Easy Ice standards with no call backs in a timely manner Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Complete timely and detailed service reports on jobs performed at each site (digital photos, descriptions of issues, etc., to correct problems in the future) using the field automation system Occasionally purchase parts, supplies, materials in the field as required Operate and maintain company vehicle according to established policies and procedures Be a representative of Easy Ice Work in a team The employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and tools; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Stands for extended periods of time (8 hours per day) While the noise level in the work environment is usually somewhat quiet, often subjected to loud noises Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules such as constant overtime Qualifications: 1 year experience in HVAC/Refrigeration Ability to work a full-time schedule including overtime Ability to raise, lower, climb and balance on ladders safely. Ability to work at ease at elevated heights (including on a roof). You possess the appropriate hand tools; company will provide specialty tools. You can prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment. You are organized, energetic, self-motivated, and reliable.
