Job Description Job Description Job Title: Intermediate Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical systems and will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in electrical work. Experience with industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of conduit installation and troubleshooting. Experience with wire pulling (no live electrical). Basic PLC experience. Consistent electrical work history or relevant schooling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in wiring, installation, pulling wire, and cable installation. Ability to supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is industrial and currently not temperature controlled, which means it can be relatively cold in the winter and warm in the summer. However, efforts are being made to transition to a temperature-controlled setting. Our company is involved in the water filtration process, producing equipment that cleans water. Our clients include well-known companies such as AT&T, Dupont, Fresenius, General Mills, Google, Honeywell, and Exxon. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
