Fitness Instructor for Senior's

FT -PT -Per Diem We are seeking a Fitness Instructor to join our team The ideal candidate is committed to health and fitness of Senior's. Responsibilities: The Fitness Assistant is responsible for general supervision of the Aquatics and Fitness Center. The Fitness Assistant is responsible for monitoring, setting up, maintaining and cleaning equipment, welcoming residents, guests, explaining programs and activities, teaching residents/guests/other SV employees how to use the equipment, and providing basic fitness information. Under the guidance and training from the Senior Fitness Program Coordinator instructs Fitness Center and aquatic classes, to include the Arthritis Foundation Aquatic classes, conducts private new resident orientations, creates beginning and progressive exercise programs for residents, reports and resolves complaints, maintains attendance records and ensures rules and regulations are enforced. The Fitness Assistant ensures residents and guests have a safe, positive and enjoyable experience. Flexibility in schedule to work evenings, weekends and holidays as it relates to implementation/supervision of programming and interaction with our residents. Qualifications: Previous experience as a personal trainer or in other related fields Ability to train at all fitness levels Passion for health and fitness Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Company Description WE are about Passion, People, Purpose.
