Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times. Assist in setting up for events or banquets as needed, ensuring all requirements are met for successful service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Skills Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Experience in bartending or brewing is preferred, with knowledge of various drink recipes. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance in all beverage preparation areas. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance customer satisfaction. Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, especially during events or banquets.
