In this role, you’ll be responsible for immediately and warmly greeting guests at the door. A host/hostess also seats and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and prompt manner. Also responsible for keeping the standing and waiting areas clean and organized. What We’re Looking For: We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. In this fast-paced environment, you will thrive by ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly and in accordance with our high standards. Key Responsibilities: Greet, seat, and interact with guests, present menus, and inform them of specials. Ensure every guest is treated with care to guarantee satisfaction and exceed expectations. Manage waitlists, quote accurate wait times, and run the floor plan board. Monitor table status and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Keep the host area clean, organized, and stocked with menus. Answer phone calls and guest questions about the menu and restaurant. Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return. Occasionally assist servers and bussers as needed. Able to stand for up to 8 hours and walk while carrying menus or highchairs (up to 20 lbs). Occasionally use stairs/elevators; frequently bend, stoop, lift, and reach. Assist with additional duties to support the team Required Experience & Qualifications Strong communication skills; must understand the primary language(s) of the team Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds Capable of operating basic bar equipment (e.g., beer taps, cash register, dishwasher) Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Well-groomed, professional appearance Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented Maintains a positive and friendly attitude Must be at least 18 years old (or comply with local legal age requirements).
