About the Role : Lead Consultant Data Functional. Location : India/Remote. Job Description : As a Lead Data Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in ETL, data engineering, data modeling, data analysis, data warehousing, and related technologies to deliver effective data solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on understanding and translating business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data architectures, develop ETL processes, and analyze data to derive valuable insights. What You'll Do : - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions. - Lead the design and implementation of scalable data projects, ensuring alignment with client needs. - Develop efficient data architectures and robust ETL processes using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server. - Conduct functional testing and validate data solutions to ensure they meet business objectives. - Design and implement data models that optimize data integrity, performance, and scalability. - Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights and present findings clearly to stakeholders. Implement and optimize data warehouses and lakes using platforms like Azure Synapse Analytics. Create interactive dashboards and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards. Optimize data storage and processing costs while ensuring high performance and reliability. Develop documentation and provide training to end-users for seamless adoption of data solutions. What You'll Bring : - Proven experience in ETL development, data engineering, data modeling, and data analysis. - Hands-on expertise with tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling and data mart design. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Preferable experience in sectors like investment holding companies, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or FMCG. - A sense of humor .
