Assistant Building Manager – Luxury Residential Development Location: Docklands (E14), East London (near Canary Wharf) Salary: Up to £38,500 per annum (approx. £17.50 per hour) Hours: 4 on, 4 off | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM About the Role: We’re excited to be recruiting for an Assistant Building Manager to join a luxury residential development in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about top-tier service, strong operational management, and creating a welcoming environment for residents. You'll support the Building Manager in the daily running of the site, oversee a busy on-site team, and ensure that service standards are consistently exceptional. Key Responsibilities: Support the Building Manager with the day-to-day operations of the development. Step in to manage the building when the Building Manager is absent. Coordinate and liaise with contractors and residents to ensure smooth project delivery. Oversee on-site teams including concierge, security-valet, and housekeeping staff. Respond promptly and professionally to resident queries and concerns. Carry out regular inspections, ensuring the building meets all compliance and safety standards. Handle administrative tasks, including reporting, record-keeping, and staff management. About You: 5 years’ experience in facilities, building, or property management. Strong technical knowledge of property and building maintenance. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage and motivate on-site teams. Organised, detail-focused, and able to multitask under pressure. Awareness of health and safety regulations (IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred but not essential). Proficient with IT and comfortable using management systems and reporting tools. What’s on Offer: Salary up to £38,500 per annum. 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (great work-life balance).
