The successful candidate will manage all financial matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy in their accounting procedures. Client Details Our client is a medium to large sized organisation within the hospitality industry, with a strong presence in Bristol. Operating in a fast-paced and demanding market, they pride themselves on their professional and dedicated team who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service. Description Manage and oversee all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. Prepare financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts. Facilitate auditing processes, liaising with external auditors when required. Advise on strategic planning and business forecasting, supporting the overall financial health of the company. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry trends. Collaborate with other departments, providing financial insights and recommendations. Implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs. Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: A recognised qualification in accountancy (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles (IFRS and GAAP). Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
