The Role We are looking for a Corporate Solicitor / Associate 3- 5 years PQE to join our reputable Corporate Partner in central Manchester. You will have experience in dealing with M&A, Private Equity, corporate restructuring, shareholder agreements, investment transactions and much more. In this role you’ll be working closely working with the hiring Partner to progress the matters forward. Main responsibilities include: Assisting the Corporate Partner Handle a mixed caseload of corporate law. Demonstrate commercial awareness. Uphold a collaborative working environment. Providing end-to-end technical support on corporate matters. Personal Specification To be successful in the role, you will be 3- 5 years PQE, with previous experience handling a varied corporate law caseload. You will be pro-active, efficient, organised, keen to take the initiative and to drive transactions forward. Junior candidates may also be considered. If you have 2–3 years of pre-qualification experience in corporate law but are only NQ–2 years PQE, your application will still be welcomed. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate: Commercial awareness and negotiating skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Accuracy and strong attention to detail. Ability to build strong rapport and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word, and Data Rooms). Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks.
