Housekeeper

Part-time Housekeeper Salary: Dependent on experience and if self-employed or not Location: Quenington, Gloucestershire Background: A busy household is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable housekeeper to maintain the smooth running of the home. The property has a gardener and part-time PA. The home and gardens host several charitable events each year, along with a variety of social events and dinner parties. The owner also has a small travel business, so she will be away at times. The role: · 3 mornings a week, days can be flexible. · General cleaning · Room cleaning (making beds, changing linens, and ensuring rooms are tidy and organised for visiting guests). · Bathroom cleaning (cleaning toilets, sinks, showers and baths and restocking toiletries). · Kitchen Cleaning (washing dishes, loading dishwasher, cleaning worktops and appliances and wiping down surfaces). · Laundry (washing, drying, folding and some ironing). · Cooking (batch cooking, meal preparation and the occasional small dinner parties). Additional Responsibilities: · Running occasional, ad-hoc errands – a vehicle is available for use. · Welcoming guests, offering refreshments etc. · Maintaining well stocked cleaning supplies, pantry, kitchen supplies, toiletries. · Answering the phone and door. · Assistance with ad-hoc events. · Occasional dog care, including walking (2x Parson Jacks, 1x Dachshund). · Diary Management. · Occasional housing sitting. Requirements: · Flexibility. · Experience in a similar position. · Impeccable standards of housekeeping. · Ability to manage your time efficiently. · Attention to detail. · Work well unsupervised. · Ability to maintain a professional appearance. · Hard worker. · Discretion. · Great organisational skills. · Full driving licence.
