Job Description Job Description The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island’s Trauma Recovery Center (JCCGCI’s TRC) is dedicated to promoting equality, justice, and healing in our community. We are committed to providing support and resources to individuals affected by violent crime and trauma through our Trauma Recovery Center. The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the provision of high-quality clinical services within the Trauma Recovery Center. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to provide supervision, guidance, and support to a diverse team of clinicians. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of culturally responsive and trauma-informed care while upholding the TRC's Core Values. The Clinical Supervisor will report directly to the Program Director. Responsibilities: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of clinical staff and interns, including individual and group supervision and high-risk case discussions. Manage clinician caseloads, schedules, and census flow; ensure coverage and balance across clinical duties. Develop, implement, and communicate clinical policies and procedures; support compliance with care standards. Coordinate DEI initiatives, collective care, and professional development to support staff well-being and growth. Serve as on-site supervisor for emergencies and oversee on-call mental health staff to ensure coordinated, trauma-informed care across medical and crisis settings. Collaborate with administrative and database staff on productivity, billing, and coordination; address inter-team issues and support front desk staff through training and conflict resolution. Liaise with the Rape Treatment Center team to align mental health and medical services. Participate in regular leadership, staff, and interdisciplinary meetings to report on activities and support team-wide communication and decision-making. Conduct annual safety and de-escalation training for all TRC staff and trainees. Provide presentations and workshops to community partners. Attend monthly Sexual Assault Response Team meetings as the TRC mental health team representative. Develop and maintain a relationship with the local Victim Services Office of the District Attorney’s Office to promote cooperation and collaboration. Attend ad hoc task forces, meetings, and forums as requested. Provide coverage for 1 Building Officer of the Day on-call shift weekly (up to 2 shifts when extra coverage is needed). Serve as the primary clinician for 4-5 Participants. Co-facilitate support groups as needed. Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with TRC policies and regulations. Oversee data collection and analysis to monitor outcomes and support program improvements. Train and supervise staff on documentation standards, data integrity, and confidentiality practices. Qualifications: LMHC or LCSW required. LCSW/SIFI highly preferred. Current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of New York. Minimum of 5-year experience providing Clinical Supervision to Trauma Therapists. Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments for trauma. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to establish a supportive and collaborative working relationship with staff. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Cultural-humility, empathy, agility, and respect consistent with the TRC's Core Values. The salary range for this position is $95,000-$110,000 annually. This is a Full-Time hybrid position.
