Job Description Job Description Asphalt Paving Foreman/Supervisor Location: West Palm Beach, FL Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction / Roadwork / Civil Engineering About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman/Supervisor to oversee and manage paving crews for projects throughout the West Palm Beach area. This critical leadership role ensures that paving operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of asphalt paving processes and equipment, proven team leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safe job sites. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities of asphalt paving crews on job sites. Coordinate scheduling, material deliveries, and equipment needs. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety guidelines, and company standards. Manage and monitor crew productivity and job performance. Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings. Troubleshoot problems on site and proactively resolve issues. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and clients. Maintain accurate daily project reports, timesheets, and material quantities. Operate paving equipment as needed. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Asphalt Foreman/Supervisor. Strong understanding of asphalt paving methods, materials, and equipment (pavers, rollers, skid steers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and plans. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) standards is a plus. Strong commitment to job site safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA standards). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus. Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 Certification. FDOT experience and certifications. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus. What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience.
