About Us: The Piano Works are coming to Cardiff and were on the lookout for full and part-time, fun-loving, passionate, and guest-focused Barbacks to join our growing family. Already a hit in London with two buzzing live music venues in Covent Garden and Farringdon, we're bringing the same high-energy mix of restaurant, bar, concert, and non-stop party to the heart of Cardiff. If you're passionate about hospitality, live music, and making guests smile, and youve got around a years experience in fast-paced environments like bars, clubs, live music venues, or experiential party spaces wed love to hear from you. What We Need: As a Singing Waiter, you will greet and welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities: Capable of handling different bookings at the same time, deal with our guests' reservations and make sure that they receive the most iconic welcome there is! Guide guests to their tables and give them the best tour around our cocktail menu. We want to hear your recommendations. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests over the phone. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the entryway, waiting area, and restrooms. Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up the host stand and organizing reservation books. Skills and Experience: Strong communication skills to interact with guests in a polite and engaging manner. Excellent organizational abilities to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure and handle a high volume of guests during busy times. Positive and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and address any issues that may arise.
