What Youll Be Doing As Assistant General Manager Operational Leadership : Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences. Team Development : Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards. Guest Engagement : Deliver warm hospitality and exceed customer expectations. Stock & Financial Control : Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control to maximise profitability. Event & Function Support : Assist in the planning and execution of private events and busy service periods. Compliance & Safety : Ensure all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to. Tech-Savvy Management : Use industry-leading systems such as Zonal till systems, High Level software, and Harri rota, time & attendance and recruitmentsystem to streamline operations. What Were Looking For Proven Experience : Previous experience in a managerial role within a busy pub or restaurant. Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with Zonal, High Level, and Harriis a bonus. Leadership Skills : Ability to lead by example, train staff, and create a positive working environment. Customer-Focused : A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of stock management, cash handling, and GP margins. Problem-Solving Mindset : Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
