Kitchen Manager

We are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this Kitchen Managers position for an established and successful company - a leader in their sector, that continues to trade well in the current climate. You will work alongside the general restaurant manager. The Kitchen Manager we are looking for will have a high volume fresh food background with a mix of experience gained in production, and the branded and independant restaurant/cafe/pub/hotel sectors. All delivered with attentive service putting the customer experience at the heart of everything they do. It is a very busy operation so you absolutely need some volume experience. Generous company discounts Health cash plan and wellbeing support Company pension Retail discounts with other companies Free on site parking RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all day to day aspects of the kitchen Prepare and cook the all fresh company core menu Control labour, the GP, stock and wastage Recruit, train and develop your team Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures Work closely with the FOH restaurant team Work to company targets and KPIs' KEY EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES Experience as a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef gained in high volume branded and independent fresh food restaurants, pubs, cafes or hotels Excellent people, communication and people management skills A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail Passion for cooking with fresh produce and experience cooking core spec menus An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results Strong leadership, coaching and motivational skills A positive and outgoing personality and outlook IT literate - working with systems & process This is a great opportunity in the current climate to join a company that has and continues to trade well and offers a superb work life balance - no evenings and alternate weekends off APPLY TODAY Please note: You must be resident in the UK and eligible to work.
