The Role: Our client is seeking a confident and driven hospitality professional to join their team as a Reservations Assistant/Host . This full-time position will be based between the reservations and reception teams, ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You will be responsible for managing guest reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to phone calls and emails, and supporting the Rooms Manager with daily tasks. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in a front office or reception role, looking to progress into reservations and further their career. Food and beverage experience is beneficial but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage guest reservations with accuracy and attention to detail. Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, assisting with check-ins and check-outs. Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring complete satisfaction. Assist the Rooms Manager with administrative duties and daily operations. Maintain effective communication between reception and reservations teams. Manage phone and email correspondence efficiently. Bring enthusiasm and energy to the team, consistently delivering exceptional service. What Were Looking For: A minimum of one years experience in a front office or reception role, ideally within a high-end hotel or restaurant environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong rapport with both guests and team members. Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems. A friendly, approachable personality with a genuine passion for hospitality. The ability to adapt quickly to different situations and resolve challenges confidently.
