Accounts Assistant - Leeds

Finance Assistant Job Specification A generalist accounts role supporting both the Purchase and Sales Ledger function. This role is varied requiring a considered, organised approach with a can-do attitude. The Finance Assistant will be required, with the relevant time and training, to be fully conversant with all aspects of Purchase, Sales and General Ledgers. Experience in Xero is a must. About Chef Works Europe Ltd Chef Works and Bragard are the two leading global culinary apparel brands manufacturing and distributing hospitality uniforms across 90 countries under the umbrella of Chef Works Europe Ltd. Our dedicated team are based primarily in Farsley, Leeds with a showroom and meeting space in London and a remote sales team. Responsibilities include: · Processing all sales invoices · Handling all royalties and commissions · Assist finance manager with accruals / prepayments / journals · Assist management accounts prep · Reconciliation of all bank accounts · Statement requests · Credit control · Stock reconciliation - producing monthly stock location reports and making any necessary adjustments · Twice yearly stock takes including reconciliation · Maintaining asset register · Updating depreciation schedule · Calculating monthly depreciation · Posting and reconciling all intercompany accounts · Quarterly VAT · Assisting with annual audit · Assist with consolidated management accounts pack Other Duties Ad hoc supporting duties as and when required by Finance Manager or Senior Management. Location The role is based within modern refurbed office space in Farsley, Leeds with free on-site parking walking distance from local amenities.
