Full-Time Supervising Pharmacist (13-Week Travel Assignment) - Peridot, AZ

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years pharmacy experience required. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor for a 13 week contract in Peridot, AZ. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with hospital pharmacy and retail experience looking for a role with potential for extension and long-term opportunities. Schedule: Monday Friday, Full-Time (30 hours/week) Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Lead and develop a pharmacy team, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality service. Develop and implement performance metrics, aligning efforts with organization-wide quality improvement initiatives. Assist in managing purchasing and inventory, ensuring cost-effective and timely access to medications and supplies. Provide staff development through feedback, HR policies, and growth opportunities. Support training, orientation, and continuous learning for team members. Prepare monthly reports on performance and improvement areas. Participate in ongoing education to maintain skills and competency. Ensure compliance with regulations regarding immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications. Requirements: Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD preferred). 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred. Three years of pharmacist experience; minimum of two years in hospital practice preferred. Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (Arizona preferred). BLS certification from AHA within 30 days of hire. Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred.
