They manufacture and maintain their own equipment. Role Overview: Maintenance Technician (Day shifts, 7am-7pm) Joining their dynamic team based in Wiltshire, my client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to conduct PPM, fault finding & reactive maintenance work on-site. The ideal candidate will have a slight electrical bias with mechanical skills and really want to be part of a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities: · Please note that this role is circa 55% electrically, 45% mechanically biassed. · Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault-finding and reactive work on the client's industrial laundry equipment at their site. · This role is circa 60% PPM, 40% reactive work. · Electrical maintenance includes: working with PLCs, opening panels, read electrical drawings, conducting maintenance on electrical components in washers & dryers (eg: pressers & steamers). · Mechanical maintenance includes: replacing pumps, valves, washing machine bearings, belts & motors. · NOTE: The shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off. Requirements: · Minimum NVQL3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. · Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. · Ideally 2 years' experience with PPM & Fault-finding on electrical systems & PLCs alongside conducting mechanical maintenance for the likes of pumps. Note that our client will consider candidates with a facilities engineering background.
