Part-Time Bilingual Vistor Engagement Specialist

We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Visitor Engagement Specialist who is bilingual in Spanish and English to be the welcoming face of a community cultural center. This vibrant public space features exhibits similar to a small museum and includes a multi-purpose meeting room available for events. If you're outgoing, community-minded, and excited to welcome visitors into a cultural space, we’d love to hear from you! Duration: Now through June 30, with potential to extend Schedule: Thursday 2:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Greet all guests with a positive and enthusiastic attitude Provide a brief orientation to the center’s layout and exhibits Prepare public relations data, brochures and handouts Ask for group size and ZIP code for visitor tracking purposes Record and report daily attendance Encourage guests to complete a brief visitor survey before they leave Occasionally answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries (Potentially) Assist with gift shop transactions once it opens — retail experience is a plus! Requirements: Fluent in both English and Spanish Two (2) years of college from an accredited college or university One (1) year of general office or administrative experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable speaking to small groups and engaging with the public Reliable, punctual, and professional Experience in retail, hospitality, or front desk roles preferred
