Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive work environment Plan and design seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards (HACCP knowledge essential) Monitor stock levels, manage ordering and supplier relationships Control food costs, waste, and portioning to meet budgetary requirements Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service Requirements: Minimum 35 years experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a luxury lodge or boutique hotel Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Financial acumen and experience with food costing and inventory Passion for creating memorable guest experiences through food We Offer: Competitive salary and performance incentives Accommodation and meals on duty Career growth in a luxury hospitality group A supportive and inspiring work environment
