Commis de Bar - F&B Support Expert

The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Commis de Bar . The Commis de Bar will report to the Bar Manager and join a team of passionate bartending professionals. This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour work week, 5 days, 2 days off) from June to December 2025. What you'll do Welcome guests Support service at tables and the bar Follow SOPs and brand guidelines Anticipate and respond to guest needs Maintain knowledge of the bar menu Prepare garnishes and appetizers Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness What we're looking for Legal right to work in Italy with a valid work permit for full-time employment (40 hours/week) Fluent in English and Italian (verbal and written) Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B operations Experience in a similar role is an advantage People-oriented, reliable, motivated, positive, outgoing Passion for luxury bartending This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in uniform. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
