Your Day-to-Day The Assistant Director of Sales / Senior Sales Manager – Corporate plays a crucial role in exceeding client expectations and enhancing guest experiences. This proactive sales role involves promoting our unique venue options such as Publico Ristorante, The Penthouse, Quayside Lounge, and The Residence, aiming to differentiate InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay from competitors. Key Responsibilities Implement venue hire strategies Proactively sell hotel’s event venues through sales calls, site inspections, and networking Achieve and surpass financial targets under the guidance of the Director of Sales Monitor competitor activities and assist in marketing intelligence Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless service Guest Experience Define innovative, experiential offerings for guests within hotel event spaces Drive event sales and develop relationships with key event and meeting planners Gather guest feedback to improve service quality Handle guest concerns promptly and effectively Focus on continuous improvement in guest satisfaction People & Responsible Business Promote teamwork and high service standards across departments Build relationships with local community groups and companies to generate new business Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years’ hotel management experience; catering and event services experience preferred Fluent in English, excellent communication skills Strong computer skills; Delphi Sales & Catering experience is a plus Problem-solving, organizational, and motivational abilities Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits, including: 5-day work week Duty meals, uniforms, laundry services Midnight transportation, birthday leave Learning & development opportunities Flexible benefits, insurance coverage 50% F&B discount at hotel restaurants Global employee rates at IHG hotels Join a global hospitality leader with over 6,000 hotels worldwide.
